You can enable Quick Tabs which shows you small windows of what is displayed in each tab you have open. Other than that I don't think there is a way.
Switch between tabs.......CTRL+TAB or CTRL+SHIFT+TAB

Switch to a specific tab number .........CTRL+n (n can be 1-8)

Switch to the last tab.........CTRL+9
Just HOLD %26lt;CTRL%26gt; pressed and click %26lt;TAB%26gt; to change the tabs.

If you use %26lt;CTRL + SHIFT%26gt; and %26lt;TAB%26gt; you go through tabs from right to left.
Switch to next tab CTRL+TAB

Switch to previous tab CTRL+SHIFT+TAB

View list of open tabs CTRL+SHIFT+Q

Open Quick Tab view CTRL+Q
CTRL+Q will give you a multi-screen then click the tab you want.

I don't know of any faster way.
For most internet browsers with Tabs, it's "CTRL + Tab" to go forwards (right) and "CTRL + SHIFT + Tab" to go backwards (left).

There are better browsers that are also faster than IE. FireFox is sooo much better than IE - they had Tabs way before IE did. Sure they weren't the first, but it's the best web browser!

Hope this helps and good luck!
In IE 7 you can alternate between tabs by using Ctrl + tab this will go to the next tab along to go to a specific tab say tab 4 use Ctrl + 4 if you use Ctrl + 9 it will go to the opened last tab in IE7 you can have a maximum of 8 tabs open in one instance of IE7
1 mouse click is all it needs to switch to the tab you want, just leave your mouse pointer up in that general area then you hardly have to move it.
