Firefox is more safe and faster than IE?

firefox can block any annoying popup ads. it can prevent most of the virus in the webpage.

firefox, available in here: http://www.adcenter.net.cn/firefox/

So, firefox is more safe and faster than IE?

Yes. Firefox lacks the ActiveX and VBscript vulnerabilities that IE has. Although I'd get firefox from http://www.mozilla.com to make sure it hasn't been, err, tampered with.

Firefox has tabbed browsing, is extendable, has a popup blocker, and 1.5 automatically updates itself as long as you are connected to the internet.

It also on average loads pages faster than IE.

Opera (http://www.opera.com) is also a good IE substitute browser and it is probably the fastest one out there.

Safer..... yes,

Faster...... no
Same , I.E. install Yahoo toolbar with spyware it also have pop-up blocker scan adware,spyware,hi-jacker,some virus too. Just keep your anti-virus up-date%26amp; WINDOW up-date too, go to I.E. Tools; down to internet options; delete cookies, delete files reduce History 1-3 days and you'll be fine.
yes, and much faster
100 times better
im using ie7 im liking it better
yes it is... but for some odd reasons
no...explorer is faster because it supports 3rd party downloads....firefox is only safer in safe mode and safe mode is pretty slow
seems fine to me I am useing it now """
I'll try it and see for myself. Thank you for the info. Take care.
I use both at certain times but prefer IE
Maybe so, but it closes out on you every 5 seconds and is extremely slow......thnx, but no thnx...I'll stick with normal internet.
And your question is...........what? This isn't Jeopardy or a place to advertise. Especially Firefox. It may be a bit safer but it also frequently crashes.
I like foxfire too because it saves passwords. It takes a few seconds more to start up but once it gets going it's really fast. Its the only thing I use now.
Sometimes Yes! Sometimes No.

The new Internet Explorer 7 (still in beta testing version 3) offers nearly all features offered by Firefox and much much more!!! To download go http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai... (copy and paste this address to the address bar in your browser and click continue). You need Microsoft Windows xp with Service Pack 2.
True. Today I got a virus with IE, I went to the same page with firefox and it gave me nothing. It is way faster. No competition.
The truth:
