Does the Opera Web Browser have a IE Tab?

My homepage can only be viewed through Internet Explorer b/c of encryption, that was until Firefox came out with IE Tab. I just read this http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/...

it claims Opera is the fastest and secure browser, but does it have an add on or software that will let me see Internet Explorer pages?

You can use Custom Buttons in Opera which you can place on any Opera toolbar which will allow you to click the custom button and open the currently opened webpage from Opera in the browser of your choice --- Firefox or Internet Explorer.

It did have a great deal of viruses and spyware on the computer, but I purchased Norton Internet Security 2007 and installed it and Webroot's SpySweeper and installed it. Ran in Safe Mode and the computer is reportedly clean now. I installed Mosic Firefox and am able to surf the internet with that, but I need to get IE working so I could download the updates for Windows XP and Internet Explorer. Please Help! You must make sure that internet explorer can pass the firewall.

Firewall settings must allow IE (that is the most likely reason).

You can enable Quick Tabs which shows you small windows of what is displayed in each tab you have open. Other than that I don't think there is a way.

For most internet browsers with Tabs, it's "CTRL + Tab" to go forwards (right) and "CTRL + SHIFT + Tab" to go backwards (left).

There are better browsers that are also faster than IE. FireFox is sooo much better than IE - they had Tabs way before IE did. Sure they weren't the first, but it's the best web browser!

In IE 7 you can alternate between tabs by using Ctrl + tab this will go to the next tab along to go to a specific tab say tab 4 use Ctrl + 4 if you use Ctrl + 9 it will go to the opened last tab in IE7 you can have a maximum of 8 tabs open in one instance of IE7
1 mouse click is all it needs to switch to the tab you want, just leave your mouse pointer up in that general area then you hardly have to move it.

You may have spyware or malware on your computer...If so, you have to remove it....

but first, I'd try to remove both Firefox and IE and reinstall them.

The copies on your computer may have just been corrupted.

I'm not sure why you have the table inside the TD tags... maybe its an embedded table. But either way, as long as the outermost table or cell is set to 100% thats what you need.

But you should also add some CSS style code that removes any padding or margins that IE or other browsers may automatically insert into every HTML page. Because that may be making it seem like your table is not a full 100%, but is intead more like 95%. Just google search "css style padding" or margin, and you'll find the code.

What is going on with my IE?

About every other time I bring up a page, it redirects me to a google image search of the page's url. This happens pretty often with advertisements , but is sometimes just out of the blue. What's going on here and how do I fix it? (by the way, I have firefox and use it alot, but its downloading capabilities are far inferior to that of IE).

Go ahead, give me a Thumbs Down, but you are incredibly mistaken.

Firefox's downloads are way superior to that of IE, allowing you to download multiple files at once with the option of pausing/resuming them.

Now that that is out of the way, I would stick to Firefox permanently. Flash is not slower on Firefox than it is on IE, because that would be impossible! Firefox and IE BOTH USE THE SAME FLASH PLAYER.

Firefox is more secure, and if you hadn't been using IE, maybe you wouldn't have the problem.

Hello All: found the ESO (online) portion of Age of Empires III apparently does not support MS Internet Explorer 7, at least not with my configuration (Windows XP w/ Media Center). When trying to access ESO w/ IE 7 installed, our desktop would 'hang' and not recover (a power-on reset was necessary...NOT DESIRABLE!). CTL-Alt-Delete did nothing, nor did the Escape key, etc. But the game worked fine in Single Player mode.

Easiest Fix: emulate IE 6.

How? visit MS Download Center site, and download the "User Agent String Utility version 2". After install completes, a desktop icon 'User Agent String Utility' will be present. Double-click it, message will pop-up explaining what's going on, and an option for you to 'Change Settings'. Having more memory on the graphics card will improve the performance of all graphical operations within the computer, especially those utilizing 3-D rendering and textures. However a thing to note is the quality of the RAM on the video board will also improve performance itself.

If you get a board with DDR3 (Double Datarate RAM 3) you will improve performance beyond that of DDR2 or straight DDR on the board.

Also the SDRAM on your motherboard is a limiting factor. A motherboard populated with DDR DIMMs will improve the I/O of the data to the video card.

I would not bother to update the video card until you update the motherboard and/or populate it with DDR DIMMs if it is already capable.

DDR on the video card and SDRAM on the motherboard will cause you to suffer from the law of diminishing returns.

Of cause it will speed up your gaming and graphical app
definitely a new video card...the processor is a bit behind the times speedwise also.

If you have the funds, I would upgrade both (but upping the CPU might entail a complete rebuild if you need a new mobo and chipset to handle a newer CPU.

Even if you were just looking at the video card... if you only have a AGP slot and not a PCI Express slot, you still might look at going with a new system and a mobo with a PCI Express slot and get a PCI Express video card. The AGPs are being phased out since the Express standard is faster.

I have %26amp; use the Google toolbar but couldn't find any settings in it that would seem to impact web page ads. Pop-ups yes but not ads embedded in web pages.

I have been petecostal since 1990. I wouldn't have it ANY OTHER WAY !!! First you should believe that God is real %26amp; the Bible is truely sent from him ( written by his servants ). We also believe in ALL of the gifts of the Holy Spirit--including being filled with the holy Spirit %26amp; speaking in tongues. Start by reading the first 5 books of the new testament---Matthew,Mark,Luke,John,%26amp; Acts. When you pray just tell God what is in your heart. Talk to him like he's your best friend (because HE IS). Talk to him like he's sitting right there beside you ( HE IS, you just can;t see him ) !

This is something I have done countless times since I started using computers, so if it is the first time for you... well, you are welcome, trust me it won't be the last.

If System Restore/Restore Point doesn't do it you may have to get a pro to do it for you. However, have you tries copying whatever error message you may get into Google? If not do it now %26amp; see what advice is given.

Stop messing around with free registry cleaners. The best thing to do is reformat your hard drive and reinstall windows. If it's not validated you might have a problem anyway. Also use only one antivirus and make sure it also covers spyware. Avg seems to be recommended by many people, I can't think why but it is free.

Other solutions: use Mozilla Firefox or go to your local library and use a computer for free 鈥?you can at most libraries but you may have to book.

What you need to do is conditionally include a CSS to take care of ie6 issues.

Sometimes I have one IE window on yahoo answers for e.g, then another window open for my email. I may be writing an email and once the yahoo answers page loads it just changes the active window to yahoo answers in the middle of me typing my mail. There is no problem as such, onmly that is very annoying. What canI do to stop this from happening?

There are a couple of things.

Get SpyBot Search %26amp; Destroy from Download.com and give your computer a clean sweep. Then get Ad-aware from Download.com.

Then get FireFox.com from Mozilla.com. This is a replacement browser that is more resistant to popups. But some websites will only work with Internet Explorer, so you aren't done with that yet.

I use FireFox for all basic browsing, and when I access Yahoo Answers. If I ever get a popup, I immedately close all windows and run both Ad-aware and SpyBot. This very rarely happens to me, but might when I am doing a google search and hit a BOGUS website.

I use Mozilla browser for most things and my IE 6 browser has always opened as many as I needed from clicking the blue e in my tray but now new window causes first one to close. I already checked tools and advanced and unchecked reuse window. Can anyone help with this? ty

Go to Windows or Microsoft Update and get all available updates. If that doesn't work, I suggest you upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 RC 1. IE 7 is a much better browser than IE 6. I have been using IE 7 since it was IE 7 Beta 2, then updated to IE 7 Beta 3, and now have updated to IE 7 RC 1, and haven't had any problems. I will post the download link for Internet Explorer 7 in case you are interested. If for some reason you don't like it you can go to Add or Remove programs and uninstall it and you will automatically be reverted back to IE6.

I was told that I am able to claim the general $52 a day meal credit on form 2106 because we have DOT hours of operation limits. Update:

You can do a system restore. Click Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System Tools %26gt; click System Restore and restore back to a point that it worked. The only problem is you will lose any downloads or changes you made after that restore point.

I've got the same problem, and while I managed to get the security 7.1 toolbar off my internet browser (tools, then internet options), but the protectstand.com still continued to come up every time I opened an internet browser, even though I'd listed another site as my homepage.

I've uninstalled the program that came with the security 7.1, but now this security pop up keeps coming up like every other minute driving me nuts. The icon looks like the security icon for Windows security centre (the "x" in the red shield), only it flashes blue with a question-mark in it.
Your computer is infected with a nasty trojan called Zlob. if I go to a website in my favorites list, its ok. If i type in a website on the address bar it doesnt go, also using "file" and "open" to type it in, ie locks up and I have to close it. I did spyware scan, adware scan, virus scan and didnt help. If you go to add/remove programs and click on IE it will ask you if you want windows to "repair" instead of "remove". Choose "repair" and it will be fixed for you through the system.

you cannot delete IE, it is a part of windows, you can reinstall it though, and it should fix the problems, often it just needs to be updated, go to windows update and get your updates
It probably is doing that because of a website but it might not be. Go to microsoft.com and look for internet explorer. if you want you can get internet explorer beta 7. beware its a beta and might have problems.
People think you can't delete IE. Wrong!!! There is a method to UNINSTALL it. Its a tedious process with lot of risks. I suggest you just download IE from the microsoft website and update it as necessary. If you are getting an error that IE is experiencing problems, its probably due to a worm/virus. I suggest you do a scan of your machine and fix bugs on IE by downloading the latest patch. I also suggest that you use third-party browsers like Opera and Firefox.

well, IE is kind of an important part of Windows and you can't simply "delete" it.

I suggest opening IE, click on Tools %26gt; Windows Update, and download and install all of the critical patches that you need. That might fix some of the problems you are experiencing.

If that doesn't help,

Start %26gt; Settings %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Add/Remove Programs.

Click on Add/Remove Windows Components %26gt; check IE and press Next or OK.

Insert your Windows disk into the CD-ROM. (I don't remember if this is needed for the install or not.)

Repeat the same steps above to reinstall IE.

If that doesn't work, contact Microsoft.
There is no need to delete it just get a newer version and ugrade it .You can uninstall it by going in the Control Panel==%26gt;Add/Remove Programs==%26gt;Add/Remove windows components and then uncheck the necessary one .

Parkin is very popular in the North of England, Blackpool Lancaster sort of way. It is like a ginger cake and is very often served as a dessert with icecream or custard. It 's lovely.
It does exist Gina, its really popular up here in yorkshire.
Parkin is like a ginger cake and is tradionally eaten on bonfire night. Here is a recipe if you fancy making it yourself

.225g (8oz) Plain Flour

225g (8oz) Medium Oatmeal

110g (4oz) Lard or Margarine

110g (4oz) Golden Syrup

110g (4oz) Black Treacle

110g 4oz Sugar

1 Egg, beaten

4 tsp Ground Ginger

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon (optional)

1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda

Pinch Salt

Pre-heat oven to 170掳C: 325掳F: Gas 3.

Grease and line a square baking tin with buttered greaseproof paper.

Sieve the flour, bicarbonate of soda, ginger, salt and cinnamon (if used).

Add the oats and sugar, mix lightly.

Gently rub in the lard or margarine.

Stir in the beaten egg.

Gently warm the syrup and treacle, so that they can be easily poured.

Make a well in the centre of the mixture and add the syrup and treacle.

Mix thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tin.

Bake for 45-60 minutes or until firm and cooked.

Allow to cool for at 15-20 minutes before removing from the tin.

Cut into squares, keep in an airtight tin for 24 hours before serving.
Parkin is lovely, my mum bakes it from time to time. When she asks if I want any, I always say I have parkin space.
Yep, it's being served up at my local pub at their Guy Fawkes night bonfire and firework display on Monday November 5th. Come along and let him try some. Entrance is free to the display , however you need to pay for the food and drink. Starts at 5.30pm.
