Does the Opera Web Browser have a IE Tab?

My homepage can only be viewed through Internet Explorer b/c of encryption, that was until Firefox came out with IE Tab. I just read this http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/...

it claims Opera is the fastest and secure browser, but does it have an add on or software that will let me see Internet Explorer pages?

You can use Custom Buttons in Opera which you can place on any Opera toolbar which will allow you to click the custom button and open the currently opened webpage from Opera in the browser of your choice --- Firefox or Internet Explorer.

It did have a great deal of viruses and spyware on the computer, but I purchased Norton Internet Security 2007 and installed it and Webroot's SpySweeper and installed it. Ran in Safe Mode and the computer is reportedly clean now. I installed Mosic Firefox and am able to surf the internet with that, but I need to get IE working so I could download the updates for Windows XP and Internet Explorer. Please Help! Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks!

You must make sure that internet explorer can pass the firewall.

Firewall settings must allow IE (that is the most likely reason).

I've tried changing encoding. I've also tried going into the configuration and making sure show pictures was checked and show placeholders was not. I've run registry cleanup programs as well. SYMPTOMS

When you open a Web page, one or more pictures (graphics or images) may not be displayed. Instead, a red X, or a placeholder, may appear in place of the images.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if one of the following conditions is true: ? The Web page includes an image type that is not supported by Internet Explorer.

RESOLUTION

1. Right-click the red X or placeholder for the image, and then click Properties. Verify that the image type is supported by Internet Explorer by examining the Type or Address (URL) values in the Properties dialog box. For example, a Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) file will list GIF Image for Type and the Address (URL) ends with .gif. Internet Explorer displays images with an .art, .wmf, .emf, .png, .mov, .xbm, .avi, .mpg, .gif, .jpg, .mpeg, and .bmp extensions.

3. If you have the Toggle Images.exe Web accessory installed, click the Toggle Images.exe link on the Links toolbar to turn on images.

4. Verify that Show Pictures has not been turned off in Internet Explorer: a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

b. Click the Advanced tab, and then verify that the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia.

c. Click OK.

5. Make sure scripting, ActiveX controls, cookies, and Java applets are enabled in Internet Explorer. To do so, follow these steps: a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

You can enable Quick Tabs which shows you small windows of what is displayed in each tab you have open. Other than that I don't think there is a way.

I don't know of any faster way.
For most internet browsers with Tabs, it's "CTRL + Tab" to go forwards (right) and "CTRL + SHIFT + Tab" to go backwards (left).

There are better browsers that are also faster than IE. FireFox is sooo much better than IE - they had Tabs way before IE did. Sure they weren't the first, but it's the best web browser!

In IE 7 you can alternate between tabs by using Ctrl + tab this will go to the next tab along to go to a specific tab say tab 4 use Ctrl + 4 if you use Ctrl + 9 it will go to the opened last tab in IE7 you can have a maximum of 8 tabs open in one instance of IE7
1 mouse click is all it needs to switch to the tab you want, just leave your mouse pointer up in that general area then you hardly have to move it.

When I enter any site, first site looks ok, then when I want to do some thing in this site or to go to another site, it is frozen and not working! I wait for it, but still now working. Then I try to close from down Tab by click the right click then Close. Then shows 2 messages. Look please for these pictures. You may have spyware or malware on your computer...If so, you have to remove it....

but first, I'd try to remove both Firefox and IE and reinstall them.

The copies on your computer may have just been corrupted.

Trouble stretching table length 100% in IE, works in Firefox?

Basically what I want to do is have the menu links at the top of the table, and then the table streching 100% (as long as that page may be) and displaying a picture at the bottom of the table.

This works in firefox, but not in IE. Any ideas?

I'm not sure why you have the table inside the TD tags... maybe its an embedded table. But either way, as long as the outermost table or cell is set to 100% thats what you need.

But you should also add some CSS style code that removes any padding or margins that IE or other browsers may automatically insert into every HTML page. Because that may be making it seem like your table is not a full 100%, but is intead more like 95%. Just google search "css style padding" or margin, and you'll find the code.
